Benjamin Barker Tailors is the tailoring arm of Benjamin Barker, Singapore's most renowned home-grown menswear brand. Specializing in high-end bespoke suits, jackets, shirts and accessories, Benjamin Barker Tailors turned to us to produce a brand new web experience.
In addition to lacking and editorial and curated feel, the site was deprived of e-commerce functionalities, preventing the brand's expansion into online sales.
As a high-end tailor, operating in a world where precision, shape and form rule, Benjamin Barker Tailors tasked us to produce a site that would not only represent the brand's DNA, but also provide an elegant discovery experience similar to that of physical store.
We chose Shopify as a highly flexible and powerful e-commerce platform to develop a fully custom website, starting from a blank canvas. Very much like the intricate pattern work of a bespoke suit, we conceived the site out of a structured grid, allowing us to place elements creatively on each page, with ample white space and editorial layouts.
On the product side, we opted for large, immersive vertical image galleries, showcasing garments down to the smallest details, and developed seamless navigation and checkout experiences to mirror premium in-store service.
